I wanted to created a bright and cheery card so I coloured Sara up to match the cute floral paper and layered her over some simple embellishments to keep the focus on the image.

My cards toppers are made with the following digi stamps from ABM

April's Rain

This is my first time at trying this "mixed media" thing!  I have made small card toppers, ripped and tore my papers, added and white paint and inks , then some stamping, a tiny but of stencil and texted paste, I finished off with my image, sentiment wording and embellishments. Give it a try It my not be perfect but if you  enjoy doing it then its all worth while....

I decided to do another summer themed card for my  inspiration. Mia is coloured with my promarkers. I added a some lovely lace from Camelia and some DP from American Crafts. Frantage added to get the sparkly summer feel.
