Baby It's Cold Outside!

Hello MiRan lovers everywhere! It's Tammy Louise on the Mi Ran inspiration page today and I hope this Tuesday has started off well for you all?  I'm going to share a beautiful digital image called Miss Tatoo on a Christmas card because soon . . . Baby It''s gonna be cold outside!!!! lol

The theme for this week at the MiRan challenge is Christmas any color other than the customary red and green!  So, I've gone pink!  I found some terrific pink paper and embellished it in every way possible with white and glitter!!  Just like her, it's as glamorous as she is!  Her ball gown is stunning and the beautiful hair do with that high back and her adorable little dimple makes her sexy and adorable!

Whimsy Stamps November 2014 Release Blog Hop - Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the Whimsy Stamps ...
  November 2014 Release

I am thrilled to join Whimsy Stamps as a guest designer this week to help showcase their November release! Over the next 3 days, myself and the team will reveal 19 *BRAND NEW* red rubber stamps/stamp sets and 4 *BRAND NEW* coordinating die/die sets. They will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday.
Whimsy is thrilled to welcome Olivia Marmara, Lizzy Smith, Mi Ran and Crissy Armstrong as Guest Designers for this release. Today we are excited to show you the brand new Art by Mi Ran, Wee Stamps and Time For Tea Designs stamps being released this month. For a full reveal of these stamps, hop on over to the Whimsy blog!  For today's project, I inked up ..... Art by Mi Ran new stamp - All Tied Up.

My wonderful mother-in-law is quilter. She really loves quilting. The image is very much for her and all the quilters but she is just like me lol I am really bad with sewing and measuring. lol

I colored her with my color pencils and I drew all the stitch lines with my 0.4mm fine liner pens.
I wanted to use a quilt pattern for the card but when I searched the patters OMG they look so hard to me lol so I made up my own. I cut the two kind of pattern papers 1.5 x 1.5 cm square than I cut them diagonal. I wanted to show them all the pieces individually, so I used the same color ink pad for the papers edge. I glued all the little pieces on the card stock.

Hard to see on the photo but I cut off little bit under the button, so try to make a button hole.

I always save leftover piece of card stock and pattern paper no mater the size. I recycled papers for this card except the base.

Here is close up image.

Another angle of the card.
This card is very different than my usual. No flowers and no bling lol I kept the card simple and try to showing up image and the pattern background I created. Hope you like my new card.

It's  Sandra here and it is my turn to host the Artbymiran Blog and today I would like to share a card I made with Lady Penelope. You can find her here.

For theme card add this : Our theme this month is Non-Christmas Colors

Lady Penelope is not a specific Christmas image, but on this card you can see you can still use her for a Christmas card.

I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and you can find the list on my blog.

Guest Designer - Linda Levoir

Good morning, it's time to meet our 1st Guest Designer for the month of November Linda Levoir.

We are trilled that she agreed to be our Guest Designer! She will be showcased here 2 times during the month. So let's meet her now:

Hi, my name is Linda Levoir, I'm from the UK. I was born and bred in London and am a 'proper' Cockney, though I've lived in Yorkshire for about 5 years now.
I've always  had a love for arts and crafts and have tried my hand at many things over the years, but just over a year ago I discovered stamping and colouring and just like that I was hooked, not too long after that I started my blog http://stickywithglitter.blogspot.co.uk/ and things have just taken off from there. I feel amazingly lucky to have enjoyed the success I have so far. I like to colour in different mediums including Copics, Distress Inks and Inktense pencils and really enjoy trying out new things, even when they go horribly wrong!

I love Mi Ran's artwork and her stamps both rubber and digital so it's very exciting  for  me  to  have this opportunity to showcase her work. Thank you so much to Mi Ran and Vicky for inviting me! :)

So let's see her 1st fabulous creation where she followed our theme the month Non Christmas colors.  For this card she used the fabulous image Sweetie Sonia.

Doesn't she look totally awesome?  The layering and all the gorgeous details really make Sonia pop right off the card!?!?  You can see the details on how she made this card on her blog here.

I think you will agree with me that she did an awesome job showcasing this beautiful image. Linda  will be back on the 15th of November for her 2nd creation.

We would love for you to become a follower of our blog along with visiting our shop to see all the wonderful images Art by MiRan has to offer! And of course you should go and check out our FB group there's so much fun going on there!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and we Hope you have a Wonderful day!
