AT ONE WITH NATURE....

Good morning, it's Samantha K here and it is my turn to host the Artbymiran Blog. Today I would like to share a card I made with the gorgeous image 'Ceridwen'

Our theme this month is - 'St Patricks day' or 'Green' and although my first make was following the theme and so this make could be 'anything goes', I still tried to stick to a greenish theme as I felt it suited the beautiful Ceridwen, who looks at one with nature :)

The Background was made from plain white card, inked and embossed to create the effect you see.

She's totally adorable!  And I dressed her all in green to go with our theme for the month!  I also thought it made it look like a spring card.

Girl in the Bubble Birthday Card ...

Good morning! Ruza here, and I'm popping in an extra day this month to host the Art by Miran Blog! Today I would like to share a Birthday Card I made for my Niece's 21st Birthday with the lovely Girl in the Bubble!

I colored this beauty with Copic Markers, fussy cut out all of the bubbles and placed them on the mat that I applied Distress Ink to, and layered her on my design.

Guest Designer - Tammy Louise Houghton Cunliffe - 2nd Creation

Good morning, it's already the time for the 2nd creation from our 2nd Guest Designer for the month of February Tammy Louise Houghton Cunliffe.

I'm sure you will be drooling over her latest creation!!! And in case you missed out on the 1st post where we introduced her let's do so again.

My start in paper crafting (20 years ago) was in scrapbooking my beautiful daughters’ photos. My greeting art (as I secretly call it) and blogging experience began about 4 years ago. I love keeping up and sharing what I learn through education, design team work, publications, demo’s and hobby shows. My style of design is vibrant and rich with the use of multiple mediums. If it’s Red, Orange and full of pigment, I’m using it in my creations! My favorite embellishment’s are ribbons and layering with die cuts to complete my creations.

My signature projects are shaped cards because they allow me to use and expand my paper crafting techniques with imagination as my only limitation. While designing the Shape EZ templates and dies, the ability to coordinate and set themes to my work has opened within me an entirely new “MOJO” as it were.

Sharing my creations via Face Book, Blogger, Pinterest, Etsy, You Tube and more has quickly become my favorite past time. However, expanding my knowledge and taking courses in mediums, design, and genre are of equal importance. I’m a trend designer with my ears and eyes to the ground for the newest thing in design currently working on Zantangle and how to best incorporate it into my projects.

I feel very blessed to have been invited to share my crafty side here with you today and hope you enjoy and become inspired by my creations.

Good morning, its Desire here and I hope you are all keeping well.

I have coloured her with Copics and dry chalks.  The design papers are from BasicGrey and the buttons are from my stash.    The sentiment is a from Create with TLC.  The shapes around the sentiment and image were created with a {Doing Life} template and can be purchased here.  The flower embellishments have been created with 2" scalloped square punches.

I ADORE her :) and I just loved colouring her up

Good morning it's Samantha K here and it is my turn to host the Artbymiran Blog. 

Today I would like to share a card I made using the gorgeous image Mermaid

Our theme this month is 'Green for St Patricks day'

I had so much fun colouring my first Miran image for my first Miran blog post. Mirans digis are truly gorgeous and inspire me to colour, I really can't wait to get onto my next one...hehe.

 I hope you all like my little mermaid, I thought she would be perfect for the green theme :) Here's a closer look. I've tried to add some texture to the towel in her hair and her tail.
